Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews by music journalists and press. She's recorded a variety of well-known songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and have been widely praised. Her name was also recognized through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Celebrate the special occasion.
