Megan Anna Rapinoe, born in Redding California on 5 July 1985. She started playing soccer as a very young child, and her skills increased in her teenage years. In 2015 and 2019, her contributions have helped players from the U.S. Women's World Cup winning team achieve consecutive championships. She was named cocaptain in 2018. Rapinoe was awarded two bronze medals during the United States' 4-3 win against Australia at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Japan has been postponed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
